According to Idrisov, the most profitable crops include raspberries, strawberries, and corn. Farmers choosing these directions should apply drip and sprinkler irrigation. The use of modern irrigation methods allows for receiving subsidies, including preferential loans with minimal interest rates from the government.
According to the latest data, there is an increase in barley and corn plantings, which is associated with the growth of livestock in the country.
“Before the start of spring fieldwork, farmers are required to conduct soil analysis and apply appropriate mineral and agro-mineral fertilizers to increase yields. It is important to monitor compliance with fertilizer usage norms,” he added.
Additionally, the Ministry advises farmers to check soil conditions, seed purity, and conduct examinations before tilling the land and sowing any crops, including grains. “Yields largely depend on these key factors,” noted Turatbek Idrisov.
