On March 7, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Zheenbek Kulubaev, made a working visit to Turkey, during which he visited the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Istanbul.
This event was attended by the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey, Ruslan Kazakbaev, the Consul General Chyngyz Toktobekov, and consulate staff, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Minister familiarized himself with the ongoing repair work in the consulate building and the conditions ensuring the provision of quality services to citizens of Kyrgyzstan.
Additionally, as part of his visit, Zheenbek Kulubaev held a meeting with consulate employees.
During his speech, he emphasized that the main task of the consulate is to protect the rights and legitimate interests of Kyrgyz citizens residing in Turkey. He also noted the importance of the active role of consular institutions in the economic development of the country, strengthening international ties, and facilitating investment attraction to Kyrgyzstan.
