In Naryn Region, they plan to build a solar power plant with a capacity of 325 MW

- On March 6, a Stabilization Agreement for the construction and operation of a solar power plant in the Naryn region was signed at the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The signing ceremony was led by the Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency, Meerimbek Koichumanov.

According to the information, the solar power plant will be located in the village of Ak-Kuduk, in the Kochkor district, and its capacity will be 325 MW. It is expected that preliminary investments in the project will reach $200 million.

The Agency emphasized that signing the Stabilization Agreement creates favorable and predictable conditions for investors, as well as ensures the stability of the legal and economic context throughout the project's implementation period.

Implementation of this initiative is expected to increase the share of renewable energy sources in the country's energy balance, strengthen energy security, and support the development of clean energy generation.

Additionally, it is anticipated that the construction of the power plant will have a positive impact on the socio-economic development of the Naryn region, creating jobs during the construction and operation phases, as well as attracting additional investments to the region.

The National Investment Agency also noted that they continue to work on attracting strategic investors and promoting large projects that contribute to the development of the country's economy.
