The Deputy Head of this agency, Meerimbek Koichumanov, attended the event. The agreement was signed with two companies: LLC "Solar Systems" and LLC "AST Imperial".
The project, which will be implemented in the village of Ak-Kuduk in the Kochkor district of the Naryn region, involves the installation of a solar power plant with a capacity of 325 MW. The total investment is expected to be around $200 million.
The signing of this agreement is considered an important step that facilitates the successful implementation of the project. It aims to create stable and predictable conditions for investors, as well as to support the stability of the legal and economic climate throughout the duration of the investment project.
The implementation of this project is expected to increase the share of renewable energy sources in the country's energy balance, which will help strengthen the energy security of the Kyrgyz Republic and make a significant contribution to the development of clean and sustainable energy.
Moreover, the construction of the solar power plant will positively impact the socio-economic development of the region, creating new jobs both during the construction phase and in the operational process, as well as attracting additional investments to the Naryn region.
