The Bishkek City Hall has presented a draft resolution regarding the regulation of municipal parking lots and spaces.
The draft includes:
- approval of a new Regulation on municipal parking lots and spaces;
- establishment of parking fees for vehicles;
- development of a separate fee for parking lots with automated payment and time tracking systems (hourly payment).
It is proposed to implement a differentiated (zonal) payment system in the city center, with fees ranging from 30 to 50 soms depending on the zone.
For parking lots with automated time tracking systems, an hourly rate is proposed:
- from 30 to 50 soms for the first two hours;
- 20 soms for each subsequent hour.
The introduction of an automated system will increase management efficiency, reduce instances of prolonged occupation of parking spaces in high-demand areas, and create conditions for further modernization of parking infrastructure.
