Meetings of the Kyrgyz Delegation with British Companies and Banks Took Place in London
During the visit, Tumanov participated in a meeting of the Kyrgyz-British Business Council, where more than 60 representatives from both the public and private sectors of the United Kingdom gathered.
The deputy minister also took part in the "Kyrgyz Republic Capital Markets Day" event, organized jointly with the investment banks Oppenheimer and Citi. At this event, macroeconomic indicators, fiscal policy, and current structural reforms were presented, as well as meetings with institutional investors.
During the discussions, emphasis was placed on measures aimed at strengthening the resilience of public finances, improving public debt management, developing the stock market, and creating a predictable regulatory environment.
In addition, Tumanov held a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of businesses and investment organizations, including companies DG and Bankinvest.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed opportunities for expanding investment cooperation, attracting private capital to key sectors of Kyrgyzstan's economy, as well as issues related to supporting investment projects and helping Kyrgyz companies enter international markets.
In London, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Climate Finance Center under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and Valor Carbon Limited.
This document aims to develop the carbon market, structure and support climate projects, as well as attract private investments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
