According to the International Business Council, the Kyrgyz side was represented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev, the Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Melis Turgunbaev, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Mederbek Tumano, and the Deputy Minister of Finance Umutjan Amanbaev.
From the British side, participants included Lord John Elderdice, the trade representative of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for Azerbaijan and Central Asia, as well as the Managing Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for Central Asia and Mongolia, Hussein Ozhan.
The event was moderated by the co-chairman of the KBDS and the Executive Director of the International Business Council Askar Sydykov.
During the meeting, participants presented their presentations, including companies such as Boston Consulting Group (BCG), United Concrete Canvas (a manufacturer of innovative cement materials), Valor Carbon (in the field of carbon financing), and Oppenheimer Europe Ltd. (providing financial services to European companies). Also among the participants was JSC "Eldik Bank," which ranks among the top three credit organizations in Kyrgyzstan.
Additionally, leading global banks such as Citibank and Societe Generale, as well as consulting firms Alvarez & Marsal and EY (London), were represented, along with many others.
Topics discussed included cooperation in critical minerals, the development of the financial market, expanding banking interactions, and leveraging London’s position as one of the main global financial centers to attract foreign investment.
Askar Sydykov emphasized the positive impact of the Council's work on strengthening trade and economic ties between Kyrgyzstan and the United Kingdom, as well as attracting investments to the country's economy.

The first meeting of the KBDS took place on November 28, 2023, at the EBRD headquarters in London, while the second and third meetings were held in Bishkek on April 25 and October 3, 2024.
