The Federal Accreditation Service noted that the decision was prompted by multiple (three or more times within a year) suspensions of the certificates issued by this accredited organization.
In 2025, the "Aurum Certification Center" issued 10.5 thousand certificates to Russian enterprises.
This decision was made based on the resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 87 dated February 6, 2026, which allows for a prompt response to mass violations in the certification field.

“In cases of systematic discrediting of the certification body, which issues three or more unjustified documents per year, its activities may be suspended for up to 12 months. This is a necessary measure to protect honest market participants,” commented the head of Rosakkreditatsiya, Dmitry Volvach.
Context of the Situation
In June 2025, the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov announced a sharp increase in the volume of Kyrgyz certificates in the Russian market.
The ministry noted the “not very high-quality” certificates coming from EAEU countries. In 2024, the number of Kyrgyz certificates in the Russian market reached 250 thousand.
In response, the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan stated that such claims require monitoring and evaluation of the work of accredited certification bodies.
As of November 30 2025, a new government resolution came into force in Russia, granting state regulatory bodies and Rosakkreditatsiya the right to suspend the validity of certificates and declarations if the goods do not meet mandatory safety requirements or if necessary documents are missing.
At the meeting of the EAEU Intergovernmental Council in December 2025, the prime ministers of the member countries noted that the fight against unjustifiably issued certificates would continue.
In February 2026, Russia suspended the validity of certificates from three Kyrgyz accreditation bodies due to frequent violations in their activities. According to the Federal Accreditation Service, in 2025 they issued more than 15.5 thousand certificates.
