The employees of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek, engaged in the fight against illegal drug trafficking, identified and stopped a case related to the illegal drug trade.
Upon receiving operational information, the officers of the Drug Control Service conducted a series of activities during which an 18-year-old citizen, D.G., voluntarily handed over a syringe containing a substance with a smell characteristic of drugs — hashish oil, with a total weight of 12.98 grams. An examination confirmed that this was cannabis oil, with a net weight of 5.86 grams without packaging.
In connection with these events, a criminal case was initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of narcotic substances with the intent to sell them.
During the investigation, D.G. revealed that he had purchased the narcotic substance from an acquaintance named "Alexey." As a result of operational-search activities, the identity of this person was established — he turned out to be 29-year-old A.L.
The investigation established that the suspects organized a laboratory for the illegal production of drugs in their apartment, effectively creating a den for their manufacture and subsequent distribution.
As a result of an urgent search at the suspects' residence, substances with a characteristic smell of cannabis were found and seized, including:
— 3 kg 739 g of cannabis oil;
— 2.33 g of tobacco mixed with a narcotic substance;
— 293 g of tobacco products showing signs of cannabis presence.
During the investigation, a Telegram channel was also identified and shut down, through which the suspects conducted illegal drug sales. Both suspects have been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek.
The Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek strongly advises city residents to be vigilant and immediately report any cases of illegal drug trafficking to law enforcement agencies.
