More than 4 kg of drugs seized
The Drug Control Service conducted an operation that resulted in the prevention of illegal drug trafficking. This was reported by the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek.
During the operation based on intelligence, an 18-year-old citizen, D.G., voluntarily handed over to the police a syringe containing a liquid with a characteristic smell reminiscent of hash oil.
The weight of the seized drug was 12.98 grams.
According to the results of the examination, this substance was classified as cannabis oil, with a net weight of 5.86 grams excluding packaging.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which concerns the illegal production of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale.
It has been established that D.G. received the drug from an acquaintance known as "Alexey." During further operational activities, the identity of the suspect was established — a 29-year-old named A.L.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the suspects organized a laboratory for the illegal production of drugs in one of the apartments, effectively creating a den for their production and sale.
