Galina Bayterek Introduced to the Team of "Kyrgyz Tuusu"

The official presentation of the new head, Galina Bayterek, took place at the publishing house "Kyrgyz Tuusu," as reported by the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The presentation was conducted under the leadership of Daiyrbek Orunbekov, who heads the information policy service of the President's Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the event, key areas for the development of state mass media were outlined, including tasks for modernization and increasing work efficiency, as well as creating a unified editorial policy.
In her welcoming speech, Galina Bayterek expressed her intention to use all her media experience to promote state print publications. She called on the staff to work together to create a quality and competitive information product that meets modern requirements.

Galina Zhumabekovna Bayterek has significant experience in the media industry. She was born in 1971 in the village of Rovnoe in the Panfilov district of Chui region and graduated from the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn with a degree in "Russian Philology."

She began her career in 1994 at the children's studio "Balastan," where she worked as a director, editor, and presenter. Later, she held positions as a reviewer, political analyst, and presenter on the KTR, ElTR, and KTRK television channels, and also became the author of various analytical and socio-political programs.

In October 2020, Galina Bayterek was appointed press secretary of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and since May 2021, she has headed the department of education, science, culture, sports, and youth policy of the President's Administration.

It is also reported that based on a decree signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet and the head of the President's Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, a state institution "Information-Publishing House 'Kyrgyz Tuusu'" was established, which resulted from the merger of the publishing houses "Kyrgyz Tuusu" and "Slovo Kyrgyzstana," as well as the editorial offices of the magazines "Baichchekey" and "Ala-Too."
