Previously, she held the position of head of the department of education, science, culture, sports, and youth in the president's administration.
The publishing house "Kyrgyz Tuusu" includes two newspapers: "Slovo Kyrgyzstana" and "Kyrgyz Tuusu."
Galina Jumabekovna Bayterek was born on July 19, 1971, in the village of Rovno, located in the Panfilov district of Chui region.
She has a higher education, having graduated from the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn with a degree in "Russian Philology" in 1996.
From 1994 to 2001, she worked at the children's studio "Balastan" as a director, editor, and host. She is the author of various children's programs, such as "Sami s usami," "To the Treasures of the Incas," "The Magnificent Seven," "I Want to Know Everything," as well as the teenage program "The Fifth Wall" and the music show "Narisete Azemi."
From 2002 to 2004, she was a reviewer for the TPO "Daytime Block of TV Programs" at KTR, as well as the host of the analytical program "Theme of the Day."
From 2004 to 2006, she worked as a director of the program "Arnoo Concerti" at the advertising and commercial agency KTR.
From 2007 to 2008, she served as an editor in the main editorial office of socio-economic and innovative programs, hosting the programs "Ala-Too Plus," "The People Want to Know," and "Accent."
In 2009-2010, she worked as a reviewer at TRK "ElTR," where she hosted the analytical program "Results of the Week."
From 2010 to 2015, she was a political reviewer in the main editorial office of socio-economic and innovative programs at KTRK, as well as the host of the programs "The People Want to Know" and "The CEC Reports," as well as all live broadcasts related to presidential elections and elections to the Jogorku Kenesh. In addition, she is the author and host of the talk show "Free Microphone" and the program "Strategy-2040."
In October 2020, Galina was appointed press secretary of the President of Kyrgyzstan, and in May 2021, she became the head of the department of education, science, culture, sports, and youth in the president's administration.
She has been awarded several honors:
- 2011 - "Excellence in OTRK";
- 2014 - title of "Best Editor of the Year" from the newspapers "Slovo Kyrgyzstana" and "Kyrgyz Tuusu";
- "Best Employee" of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Kyrgyz Republic.
