This is the largest rural administration in the district, home to about 50,000 people.
The akim of the Nooken district, Talaybek Ishembekov, introduced the new leader to the team and expressed hopes for his successful work.
Before this, Nurbek Ashimov served as vice-mayor in Bazar-Korgon.
The district akim also noted in a conversation with a Turmush correspondent that the election of the new head of the rural administration will take place in February, and candidates with relevant experience for working in large populated areas are being considered.
Previously, the head of the rural administration named after Dooronbek Sadyrbaev was A.B., who was detained by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) in August 2025.
According to the state committee, on July 22 in the village of Massy in the Nooken district, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Chairman of the GKNB Kamchybek Tashiev met with A.B., the head of the D. Sadyrbaev rural administration.
In response to questions about his possible involvement in corruption in land transactions, A.B. stated that he is "not involved" and "ready to take responsibility" if violations are found.
According to the GKNB, during the investigation, numerous facts of corruption committed by A.B. during his tenure as deputy and later as head of the Dostuk rural administration (2019–2024) were revealed. A.B., while serving as the chairman of the permanent housing commission, sold municipal land plots at undervalued prices through fictitious auctions.
As part of a criminal case under Article 336 "Corruption," A.B. was detained and placed in the GKNB pre-trial detention center. Connections of A.B. with high-profile individuals who may also be involved in corrupt schemes have been established, and investigations are ongoing.
