Expert Identifies Key Risks for Employers When Hiring Employees
Tajibaev emphasized that the passport is the first and mandatory document for employment. He provided examples of situations where candidates were hired without a passport on a temporary basis, only to later be found to be foreigners. In such cases, employers may face serious consequences for illegal employment.
The next risk block concerns qualifications and education. The expert noted that applicants often promise to provide their diploma later, only to turn out that the document is fake. Such risks also apply to various permits and certificates required for work at hazardous facilities: if an employee is allowed to work without the necessary permits, the responsibility in case of an accident may fall on the employer.
Employment record book is the third important point. Tajibaev stressed that if a candidate claims to have an employment record book but will bring it later, employers should not delay its registration. In such cases, it is recommended to immediately issue a new employment record book and properly maintain personnel documents from the first day of work.
Additionally, the expert reminded of the importance of conducting medical examinations and obtaining necessary certificates, if required depending on the nature of the work, especially in cases with increased risks or work with children. These conditions should be clearly outlined in the employer's local regulations.
