The system is being developed by the state institution "AgroSmart," which is also under the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry. The GIS "SUMO" is a modern web application that provides a unified geoinformation tool for visualizing, accounting, monitoring, and analyzing data on the veterinary and sanitary condition of the country.
The project includes the following activities:
- creation of an interactive map displaying anthrax outbreaks, facilities for the disposal of biological waste, and veterinary infrastructure;
- implementation of a system for accounting veterinary and sanitary measures;
- formation of a centralized database for analytical needs, reporting, and management decisions;
- automatic notification of responsible services about new cases of the disease;
- integration with existing state information systems of Kyrgyzstan.
This system will ensure transparency in veterinary processes and increase the effectiveness of preventive measures, which, in turn, will enhance the biological safety of the country. The implementation of GIS "SUMO" will be a significant step in the development of digital management tools in the veterinary field, providing a modern approach to monitoring the epizootic situation in the Kyrgyz Republic.
