The Central Election Commission at its meeting today made a decision to prematurely terminate the powers of the Jogorku Kenesh deputy Janar Akayev. This decision is based on the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic issued on February 18, 2026, under number 65.
The deputy certificate of Akayev is now invalid, and his place will be taken by Talaybek Sarybashov.
