A New Chairman Appointed to the Antimonopoly Regulation Service
On February 17, 2026, a presentation of the new chairman, Aibek Mamyraliev, took place at the Antimonopoly Regulation Service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, Benazir Nurlanova, introduced the staff to the new leader.
During her speech, she highlighted the main tasks of the agency, including the development of a competitive environment, protection of consumer rights, and monitoring compliance with antimonopoly legislation.
Particular attention was given by the deputy minister to monitoring prices for essential goods. The service has been tasked with intensifying control in markets to prevent unjustified price increases and uncover hidden price collusion.
Benazir Nurlanova noted that Aibek Mamyraliev's extensive experience, knowledge, and management skills will help effectively fulfill the functions of the service and apply a systematic approach to solving key tasks related to the development of competition.
