Charging stations for electric vehicles are being installed near power lines and roads, - JSC "Chakan HPP"
“The main factors in choosing locations were the proximity of power lines, closeness to transformers, and access to roads. We preferred sites that ensure minimal connection costs and convenient access for drivers,” Askeev noted.
He also added that the choice of location takes into account the level of traffic and the distance between charging stations.
“On average, the distance between stations is 150–200 kilometers. Electric vehicles can travel between 200 to 400 kilometers on a single charge. Therefore, this year our plan includes six points in the Issyk-Kul region. In the future, we plan to increase their number,” the deputy director said.
Additionally, Askeev reported on the operation of existing charging stations. “We have signed a contract with Charge24 for the development of billing and software. Creating a new program would cost about $240,000, so we decided to continue our cooperation with an already functioning company. The financial resources will be directed towards supporting and maintaining the software,” he added.
