During a meeting held by the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Marlen Mamataliyev, with the heads of the Parliament's Apparatus and department heads, important issues regarding the functioning of the legislative body were discussed. The First Deputy Speaker Chyngyz Azhibaev was also present at the meeting, as reported by the Parliament's press service.
During the discussion, Mamataliyev emphasized the need to improve the work of the Parliament, highlighting the importance of transitioning to digital technologies.
“A considerable amount of paper is used in the development of laws and document management. This needs to change, and we should focus on digitization,” he noted.
Furthermore, the Speaker pointed out that current problems and pressing issues should be discussed within the Parliament with the participation of all interested parties, rather than being taken outside its walls.
Mamataliyev proposed creating a special discussion platform within the Jogorku Kenesh and expressed his readiness to actively participate in such discussions.
