In his first speech as the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Marlen Mamataliev expressed gratitude to President Sadyr Japarov and the deputies for the trust placed in him. He noted that "I will direct all my efforts and accumulated experience for the benefit of the state. We must work as a united team."
The speaker emphasized that the reforms carried out under the leadership of the president have significantly improved the country's economy and strengthened the fight against corruption, which in turn has positively affected Kyrgyzstan's international image. Mamataliev noted that the Jogorku Kenesh played an important role in these transformations.
He paid special attention to the necessity of equal treatment for all deputies and citizens. "Our country must remain united, without division by regions. I intend to travel to the constituencies and address the issues that concern people. Over the course of the year, I plan to visit all 30 constituencies," added the new speaker.
