According to information received from the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 205 (theft) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. As a result of operational-search activities, law enforcement agencies identified the suspect — a citizen S.V., born in 1977, who was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
During the investigative actions, it was revealed that the detainee may be involved in five similar thefts in this area. An investigation is also being conducted into his possible involvement in other crimes of this nature in both the Jayil and neighboring districts of the Chui region.
The investigation is ongoing.
