In response to this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 205 (theft) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. As a result of investigative and operational measures, officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Bishkek City Police detained the suspect A.B. He was taken to the investigative service of the First May District Police Department and placed in a temporary detention facility.
It was additionally revealed that the detainee may be involved in other similar crimes. Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to clarify all episodes of his criminal activities.
The Bishkek City Police Department urges citizens to take precautions: do not leave valuable items, money, and documents in vehicles, even for a short time, to avoid the possibility of theft.
