President Sadyr Japarov issued a decree according to which Abdikarim Alimbaev is relieved of his duties as the first deputy chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) and is now appointed as the chairman of the State Border Service. This service was previously part of the GKNB structure, but it is now becoming an independent body.
