According to information provided by the president's press service, Abdikarim Alimbaev has been appointed to the high position of chairman of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The appointment decree was signed by President Sadyr Japarov.
Previously, Alimbaev held the position of first deputy chairman of the State Committee for National Security and was also the director of the Border Service of the GKNB.
