In addition, the reconstruction of two hydro units at the Uch-Kurgan HPP is expected to start in the spring months. Work on the restoration of unit No. 2 will begin in February, while work on unit No. 1 will start on March 1. It is anticipated that both reconstructions will be carried out simultaneously, which will allow for a comprehensive approach to updating equipment and coordinating all work.
At the Kambarata HPP-1, work continues on the construction and development of infrastructure. In particular, finishing and engineering work is actively underway in the administrative and domestic complex. The laying of sewage and water supply networks, as well as the installation of internal partitions in the building dormitory, are nearing completion.
Additionally, at the Kurp-Sai HPP, the replacement of two autotransformers (AT-1 and AT-2) has begun as part of the modernization of the 220 kV switchgear. The delivery of the first autotransformer is expected in January 2026, and the second in March 2026. Installation work is scheduled for April 1, 2026, and should be completed by autumn.
The implementation of this project will significantly increase the operational capabilities of the Kurp-Sai HPP.
Furthermore, a new administrative building has been constructed for the employees of JSC "Electric Stations," meeting modern requirements. This will create comfortable working conditions for the staff. In 2026, phased repair work is also planned for the administrative buildings of the branches of JSC "Electric Stations."
