Bishkek CHPP generates 10,925 thousand kWh of electricity in a day
According to information from the Bishkek city administration, the CHPP continues to operate without interruptions, providing a stable supply of electrical and thermal energy to consumers.
As of February 2, 2026, the average capacity of the CHPP is 455 MW. At the same time, the daily supply of thermal energy is 9,285 thousand Gcal, and the generation of electrical energy is 10,925 thousand kWh. Daily fuel consumption amounts to 7,831 thousand tons of coal and 368 thousand nm3.
The CHPP is equipped with 15 boiler units, 7 turbo units with cross connections, as well as two power blocks — No. 3 and No. 4. Currently, 9 boiler units, 4 turbo units, and both power blocks are in operation.
In preparation for the heating season of 2025/2026, the delivery of 1.4 million tons of coal is planned to ensure a reliable supply of electrical and thermal energy. The fuel supply schedule has been established until the end of the heating season.
As of February 2, 2026, the coal stock at the CHPP amounts to 204,537 thousand tons, which guarantees the stable operation of the station during the current heating period.
The Bishkek CHPP continues to operate in a stable mode, taking necessary measures to ensure reliable energy supply for the population and enterprises of the city.
