According to information from the Ministry of Natural Resources, the predator entered the yard with the intention of attacking a goat. As the homeowner recounted, he went outside due to the barking of a dog and noticed how the ibex grabbed the goat. This same predator had previously visited the yard.
Most likely, the ibex was of an older age, as it was unable to fully bite and carry away its prey, which may indicate a natural decline in its hunting instincts.
According to the owner, this predator occasionally visits the village, and its tracks can be seen near some yards. This time, it headed towards the Teski pasture.
The Ministry of Natural Resources urges residents to be cautious when encountering wild animals, to observe safety measures, and to promptly inform the relevant authorities about such incidents.
