On January 29, 2026, information about a murder committed in the village of Bordu was received by the Internal Affairs Department of the Kemin district, according to the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region.
After receiving the report, an investigative-operational group was dispatched to the scene. During the examination, the body of a 49-year-old man named E.A. was found on a bed in a barn located inside a two-room house, with multiple stab wounds.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 122 (Murder) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational-search activities, police officers were able to identify the suspect. He turned out to be a 55-year-old man named P.A., who had previously been convicted of a similar crime. The suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation established that E.A. and P.A. worked as herders and on the night of January 28, 2026, around 10:00 PM, they drank alcohol together. During a conflict that arose, P.A. inflicted fatal stab wounds on E.A. with a kitchen knife. After the crime, the suspect disposed of the murder weapon by throwing the knife into a street toilet.
At present, the knife has been seized as evidence, forensic examinations have been appointed, and investigative actions are ongoing.
