Kasymaiev discussed the implementation of joint projects with the Vice President of JICA
The Vice President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Yoshikawa Yoshifumi, met with the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasyamaliev. During their conversation, they discussed projects that have been implemented in the country with the support of JICA.
As reported by the press service of the Cabinet, the focus was on long-term initiatives that have significantly contributed to improving the living standards of the population of Kyrgyzstan.
Examples of successful cooperation mentioned included projects such as "One Village - One Product" and the Japanese Government Scholarship Program (JDS).
The parties also discussed progress in implementing a number of projects related to the provision of grants and technical assistance in areas such as transportation, healthcare, energy, and human resource development.
It is important to note that under the auspices of JICA, 43 projects have been implemented in Kyrgyzstan. This year marks a milestone — the 25th anniversary of the opening of JICA's representation in the country.
