At a parliamentary meeting, member of the Jogorku Kenesh Erulan Kokulov expressed his outrage over the illegal construction taking place in the center of the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
He noted that businessman Nariman Tyuleev was supposed to build only a two-story building according to the approved project, but in fact, he constructed a three-story object.
According to Kokulov, only the intervention of the head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev, led to the halt of the construction.
“Why should such issues be resolved only by the president or Kamchybek Tashiev? Where were the relevant services all this time? Why didn’t they stop the construction earlier if such violations are allowed in the very center of the city? If you are unable to perform your duties, why are you holding your positions?” the deputy asked indignantly.
