Erulan Kokulov urged the president to rein in government officials
In his speech, the parliamentarian touched upon the situation at the "Aurora" sanatorium, where he previously identified violations of sanitary norms in the kitchen and storage areas. According to him, the responsible individuals are misleading both the deputies and the president, as well as the public.
“The president is doing a lot; we see development. But at the same time, only a few from his entourage are actually working, while the others just attend meetings and laugh at our work in the Jogorku Kenesh. For example, in the center of Bishkek, Nariman Tyuleev promised to build a two-story building, but ended up constructing three floors. His actions were halted by Kamchybek Tashiev. Are there not other responsible bodies that should be dealing with such issues? Why are they not fulfilling their duties for which they receive a salary?” the parliamentarian questioned.
Kokulov emphasized that government officials should work not for the approval of the president but in the interests of the people.
Moreover, he noted that many schools currently under construction quickly fall into disrepair due to a lack of oversight from the responsible organizations.
