The Central Election Commission continues the process of registering candidates wishing to participate in the repeat elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh for the multi-mandate electoral district No. 13.
The voting is scheduled for March 1, 2026.
The CEC also reminds that the deadline for submitting applications to participate in the elections expires 30 calendar days before the voting — on January 29, 2026, at 18:00.
Currently, 25 candidates have been registered with the CEC, all of whom have nominated themselves. Among them are individuals from various fields, including business, law, education, energy, government structures, and public organizations, as well as temporarily unemployed citizens.
Among the candidates:
- directors and heads of commercial companies;
- lawyers and human rights defenders;
- entrepreneurs;
- representatives of the educational and cultural sectors;
- public activists and employees of government institutions.
