The head of the Cabinet instructed the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic to develop an electronic mechanism for transferring students from school to school.
During the discussion, Kasymaliev emphasized the need for automating the transfer of students. Currently, more than 1.5 million children are studying in 2,170 state and municipal educational institutions, yet the transfer process is still conducted manually, which creates risks of corruption and an uneven burden on educational institutions.
“We have successfully implemented electronic enrollment for the first grade, and now it is time to streamline the transfer process. The system should automatically display available spots in classes and eliminate the human factor, which will ease the workload for school administrations and make the process transparent for parents,” he noted.
Following the discussion, the head of government instructed the Ministry of Education to develop and implement an electronic system for transferring students between schools as soon as possible.
The second issue at the meeting was the creation of a unified "Digital Tourist Platform." Kasymaliev highlighted systemic problems in the tourism sector, such as the fragmentation of services (visas, transport, insurance) and the lack of centralized management of the tourism process.
“Tourists should not face bureaucracy and language barriers. We need a platform that brings together government and business services, as well as payment tools, to provide all services in one place—from entry to exit from the country,” he stressed.
As part of this project, Kasymaliev instructed the Department of Tourism, as well as the ministries of digital development and finance, to work together with JSC "Tündük" to promptly develop the requirements and ensure the financing and technical implementation of the unified digital tourist platform.
