In Kyrgyzstan, there are plans to transition to an electronic transfer system for students between educational institutions. At a recent operational meeting, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, proposed creating a system that will automatically display available spots in classrooms, which will help minimize corruption risks and simplify the process for parents, according to information from the press service of the Cabinet.

There are more than 1.5 million students enrolled in 2,170 state and municipal schools in the country.

However, the mechanism for transferring students between schools is still carried out manually, which contributes to the emergence of corruption schemes and uneven distribution of the workload among educational institutions.

“We have already successfully implemented electronic enrollment for the first grade. Now it is time to introduce a similar procedure for transfers. The system should automatically display the availability of free spots and eliminate the human factor from the decision-making process. This will significantly ease the work of school administrations and make the process more transparent for parents,” noted Adylbek Kasymaliev.

Following the discussion, the head of the Cabinet instructed the Ministry of Education to develop and implement this electronic system as soon as possible.
