The Mayor of Bishkek met with residents of the new territories of the Sverdlovsk District
During the meeting, current issues related to social infrastructure were discussed, such as water supply, road conditions, and the lack of public transport. The Bishkek city administration reported that residents raised concerns regarding sewage and transportation accessibility.
Ulanbek Beishenbaev, head of the Transport Department, stated that the new 8-meter buses will start operating only after the road repairs are completed. Mayor Junushaliev added that improvements to the road network will only be carried out after resolving issues with water supply and sewage. He also mentioned a special program for the development of new districts, designed in accordance with the President's directives, with a budget of about 9 billion soms, of which approximately 2.5–3 billion soms have already been allocated this year.
Additionally, the meeting addressed issues related to land plots. The mayor emphasized that during road construction, the city administration will dismantle illegally constructed buildings; however, existing illegal residential houses will not be demolished. He also noted that the emergence of new illegal constructions in the future is unacceptable.
At the end of the meeting, the mayor instructed the heads of relevant services and departments to develop specific measures to address all the raised issues and set deadlines for their implementation.
