The 20th session of the Governing Council and the second meeting of the SPECA Fund Committee took place in Ashgabat as part of a week dedicated to this program. According to the Ministry of Justice, during these events, the Kyrgyz Republic was elected to the position of Chair of the SPECA Program for 2026.
This chairmanship will provide Kyrgyzstan with new opportunities to strengthen its international image, protect national interests, and actively participate in the development of the SPECA Program.
One of the significant outcomes of these events was the adoption of documents necessary to commence the work of the SPECA Fund, which will be engaged in implementing projects in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
