National Statistics Committee: As of the end of 2025, Kyrgyzstan's GDP growth was 11.1%

In 2025, the gross domestic product grew by 11.1%, as confirmed by preliminary estimates. The total GDP, as noted, exceeded 1.9 trillion soms, which is a significant achievement compared to 2024.



The volume of industrial production for 2025 amounted to 799.7 billion soms, which is 10.6% more than in 2024. The main growth factors were high productivity in pharmaceuticals (an increase of 1.7 times), as well as in the production of building materials (by 35.7%), rubber and plastic products (by 35.7%), printing (by 30.5%), and the food industry (by 30.1%).



Positive changes were also observed in the construction sector, where a growth of 21.1% was recorded. In trade (wholesale and retail), there was an increase of 17.8%, and in agriculture — by 2.2%.

Throughout 2025, the overall growth of consumer prices and tariffs was 9.4%. In particular, prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 9.9%, for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products — by 8%, and for non-food products — by 7.8%. Service tariffs rose by 11.2%.

In December 2025, compared to the same month in 2024, an increase in consumer prices was recorded in all regions of the country. The highest price increase (11.6%) was observed in the city of Osh, which was related to the rise in prices for non-food products (by 12%) and service tariffs (by 13.5%). In Chuy region, the maximum increase in prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages was 13.1%, while in Issyk-Kul region, prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products rose by 14.4%.

The total volume of foreign and mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan from January to November 2025 amounted to 14 billion US dollars, which is 12.2% less than in 2024. At the same time, exports decreased by 43.5%, while imports increased by 0.5%.

Mutual trade with the EAEU states during the specified period amounted to 4.9 billion US dollars, an increase of 1.3% compared to the previous year. The main partners in mutual trade remained Russia (64.1%) and Kazakhstan (33.5%).
