The inflation rate in Kyrgyzstan for 2025 was 9.4%, - National Statistics Committee

- According to data provided at a press conference by the Chairman of the National Statistical Committee, Baktybek Kudaybergenov, in 2025, there was an increase in consumer prices and tariffs of 9.4% compared to 2024.

In the structure of price growth, the following categories stand out:

    • the cost of food products and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 9.9%;

    • alcoholic beverages and tobacco products became more expensive by 8.0%;

    • non-food goods rose in price by 7.8%;

    • tariffs for services to the population increased by 11.2%.

The most noticeable price increases are observed in the following products: vegetables and fruits, fresh fish, vegetable oil, potatoes, fresh meat, dairy products, flour, and sugar.

December 2025 demonstrated price and tariff increases across all regions of the country compared to December 2024.

The highest price increase of 11.6% was recorded in the city of Osh, where non-food goods also became more expensive (by 12.0%) and services for the population (by 13.5%).

Chuy region noted the highest increase in prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages, while Issyk-Kul region saw the highest increase for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
