Baisalov met with the Ambassador of Japan on the occasion of the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Edil Baisalov, met with the newly appointed Ambassador of Japan to Kyrgyzstan, Hirano Ryuichi. This meeting was organized to mark the beginning of his diplomatic mission in the country, as reported by the press service of the Cabinet.
During the meeting, Edil Baisalov congratulated Hirano Ryuichi on his new appointment and noted that Kyrgyz-Japanese relations continue to develop successfully. He also mentioned a significant event — the holding of the First Summit of Heads of State within the framework of the "Central Asia + Japan" Dialogue.
The parties discussed the importance of active political dialogue and emphasized Japan's contribution to the socio-economic development of Kyrgyzstan, including projects implemented with the support of JICA. They also discussed the prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the areas of investment, taxation, as well as cultural and tourism ties.
At the end of the meeting, there was a mutual readiness expressed to deepen the partnership between the two countries.
