This year, they plan to replace the asphalt on the Too-Ashuu pass.
On the section of the road from the 130th to the 146th km, the old asphalt will be dismantled and new pavement will be laid. The replacement of barrier fences is also planned on the stretch from the "Sosnovka" post to the entrance to the Too-Ashuu pass (80-139 km).
The Ministry of Transport noted that to date, 180 out of the planned 200 parapets have already been installed. The last updates to the barrier fences have not been carried out for over 20 years, since the reconstruction of the Bishkek - Osh highway.
It is worth reminding that this year, work is planned in the republic for the repair of important highways and local roads. As part of state capital investments, the construction and restoration of 700 km of roads is planned, of which 457 km are listed in the title list. Changes and additions may be made during the implementation of the projects.
