According to his statement, the "Basai" variety of cabbage was planted in January, and the harvest is currently being collected.
"This season, four varieties of cabbage were sown on an area of 30 hectares. At the moment, we are harvesting the 'Basai' variety. We have already exported 45 tons of cabbage to Russia," noted Madaliev.
The price per kilogram of cabbage is 35–40 soms. It is expected that the total harvest will reach 450 tons, and the collection of the other varieties is scheduled for May," he added.
In April 2025, it was reported that farmers from the rural municipality of Dobo-Korgon in the Aravan district harvested 90 tons of cabbage and sent it for export to the city of Novosibirsk, Russia.
