Vladimir Putin signed a decree on restrictions on the export of cash rubles to the EAEU

A decree signed by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, introduces new rules for the export of cash rubles for citizens and organizations of EAEU countries. This document is available on the legal portal.

According to the decree, starting from April 1, individuals will be able to export cash rubles exceeding $100,000 only through airports, after notifying the customs authorities and providing bank statements confirming the withdrawal of cash funds. For legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, this restriction will apply regardless of the amount being exported.

Additionally, Putin signed a decree regarding the ban on the export of refined gold in bars weighing more than 100 grams, starting from May 1, 2026. However, export through the airports of Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo, and Vladivostok (Knevichi) will be possible with permission from the Federal Assay Chamber.
