The second stage of the auction for the sale of OJSC "Ala-Too Resort" has begun
He noted that the first stage of the auction took place in June 2025, during which 14 out of 49 presented lots were sold. The remaining assets, including hotels of various categories (two-, three-, four-, and five-star), are being put up for re-auction.
The bidding is scheduled for the period from April 8 to April 10.
OJSC is also offering land plots for the construction of hotel complexes.
"Ala-Tuu Resort" is a large-scale project aimed at creating one of the largest ski clusters in Central Asia. It includes three key areas: "Jyrgalan," "Ak-Bulak," and "Boz-Uchuk," located in the Issyk-Kul region.
According to plans, the total length of ski trails will be about 250 kilometers, allowing the resort to accommodate up to 2 million tourists annually and create over 4,600 jobs. As part of the first stage, which is taking place in the Jyrgalan area, 1,624 hectares have been prepared for resort infrastructure, including trails, cable cars, a substation, and engineering networks.
