Rosselkhoznadzor monitored the import of beans from Kyrgyzstan
Kazakhstan became the main source of imports, delivering 154 tons of onions, as well as 33.8 tons of wheat flour and 15 tons of rice. Additionally, 22 tons of dried peeled beans were received from Kyrgyzstan. The imports also included 180 tons of cocoa beans from Côte d'Ivoire.
All batches of quarantine products were accompanied by phytosanitary certificates from the exporting countries. Specialists from the Administration took samples from each batch and sent them for examination to the Ulyanovsk branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "VNIIZZH" (All-Russian Research Institute of Plant Protection).
Laboratory studies confirmed the full compliance of all shipments with the phytosanitary requirements of the Russian Federation. As a result, Rosselkhoznadzor issued 14 acts of quarantine phytosanitary control (supervision).
