During a tax inspection conducted by the employees of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, illegal gasoline sales were discovered in the Moscow district of the Chui region. The press service of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic reported this incident.

“At the gas station in the village of Sadovoe, fuel was sold without the mandatory labeling with molecular markers. This violation was detected using a special analyzer, which showed the absence of a marker in the composition of the petroleum products. Laboratory tests conducted at OJSC 'Uchkyn' also confirmed this violation. As a result of the inspection, 8,500 liters of fuel were seized, with a total value exceeding 579,000 soms,” the State Tax Service reported.

It is important to note that from October 1, 2024, mandatory labeling for gasoline and diesel fuel will be introduced in Kyrgyzstan. This rule applies to both imported petroleum products and locally produced goods. The import, transportation, and sale of fuel without molecular markers are prohibited.
