This is the first time Brent crude oil has reached this value since March 9, 2025.
As of 2:50 Bishkek time, the price of May Brent crude oil futures increased by 7.47% compared to the previous close, reaching $112.15 per barrel.
WTI crude oil futures also rose in price by 3.78%.
Markets continue to react to the escalating tensions in the Middle East. Earlier, Iran announced its intention to attack energy facilities in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE in response to strikes by Israel and the U.S. on its targets.
