
The mass release of young fish is aimed at protecting biodiversity and developing the fishing industry in the region
In the Naryn region, 1.2 million young sturgeons were released into the Orto-Tokoy reservoir. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
The ministry clarified that the average weight of each young fish was 0.45 grams. The main objective of this ecological initiative is to restore fish stocks and maintain biological balance in the water body.
The ministry noted that such actions contribute to the sustainable development of the fishing industry in the country.
