On March 13, 2026, in the Orto-Tokoy Reservoir of the Naryn region, the company "Orto-Tokoy Intymagy" released 1.2 million juvenile fish of the Ludoga whitefish species with an average weight of 0.45 grams.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the stocking was carried out in accordance with the approved forecast plan for 2025–2026 for the artificial reproduction of fish stocks in state water bodies by the Department of the Fishery Complex under the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
The event involved a commission that included a specialist from the Department of the Fishery Complex and staff from the Environmental Tourism Police.
These actions are aimed at increasing fish stocks in the reservoir, maintaining biological balance, and ensuring the sustainable development of the fishery, notes the Ministry of Agriculture.
