- According to the March report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, wheat exports from Kazakhstan in the 25/26 season will increase to 10.5 million tons.

This forecast has been revised upward by 8.2% compared to the estimates presented in February and is 5.1% higher than last season's results.

The main reason for the increase in the forecast is the high export volumes in the region, as well as slightly improved yield figures.

According to the methodology adopted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, exports and yields are considered for the marketing year, which differs from the calendar year. This period is defined as the time when the harvested crop is sold.

The marketing year for each agricultural exporting country is set separately and includes 12 months.

In the case of Kazakh wheat, the marketing year covers the period from September of the current year to August of the following year.
