In 2025, the country's economy is experiencing additional inflationary pressure due to a significant increase in prices for fuel and lubricants, which rose by 14.5%, according to data from the Ministry of Economy.

This increase contributed to a rise in the overall inflation rate by 0.18 percentage points.

The greatest impact on inflation came from gasoline, the price of which increased by 15.1%. This accounted for its contribution to inflation at 0.17 percentage points. Diesel fuel also became more expensive, rising by 11.1%, which contributed 0.01 percentage points.

The reasons for the rise in fuel prices are varied. Among them are export restrictions caused by maintenance work at oil refineries in Russia. Additionally, external economic conditions, such as rising global oil prices and increased transportation costs, also played a role.

The cumulative effect of these factors led to the increase in fuel and lubricants prices, which in turn intensified inflationary pressure in the country.
